Статья посвящена краткому обзору сведений, касающихся сравнительной эффективности и показаний к применению основных препаратов центрального действия у больных артериальной гипертензией. Приводятся также собственные данные, полученные при изучении эффективности моксонидина у женщин в постменопаузе с гипертонической болезнью и ожирением.

The article deals with the overview of different classes of antihypertensive centrally acting drugs. Author’s own experience concerning the use of moxonidine in postmenopausal hypertensive obese women is also provided.
