Было выявлено, что терапия рилменидином сопровождается позитивными изменениями со стороны целого ряда метаболических показателей у больных АГ, а именно снижением уровня глюкозы, общего холестерина и триглицеридов, а также способствует снижению массы тала. Основные выводы исследования касаются позитивных метаболических сдвигов у больных с избыточной массой тела и ожирением, а также в подгруппе пациентов с сахарным диабетом. Полученные данные можно считать еще одним важным доводом в пользу того, чтобы считать наличие метаболических изменений показанием к применению агонистов имидазолиновых рецепторов, в первую очередь рилменидина, для лечения АГ в качестве первой линии терапии. </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The aim of the study was to evaluate effects of rilmenidine and its combination with amlodipine on plasma glucose and lipids as well as body weight in ALTAIR study population. Rilmenidine therapy resulted in several positive metabolic effects: decrease in glucose, total cholesterol and triglyceride levels as well as decrease in body weight. The most prominent metabolic effects were shown fro patients with concomitant obesity and in diabetic subpopulation.
