Последний вид аритмии обсуждается в связи с высоким риском внезапной смерти и современными возможностями хирургического лечения: радиочастотной катетерной аблации, имплантации кардиовертеров-дефибрилляторов. Также обсуждаются возможности имплантируемых устройств в лечении различных нарушений ритма и сердечной недостаточности.
