В настоящее время существует ряд биологических препаратов, активных в отношении ревматологических заболеваний, прежде всего ревматоидного артрита, псориатического артрита и анкилозирующего спондилоартрита. Накопленный опыт их использования в целом позитивен, и свидетельствует о возможности достижения контроля активности патологического процесса в отсутствие значимых проявлений токсичности большинства больных, резистентных к иным методам терапии. Дальнейшая разработка методов биологической терапии является одним из наиболее перспективных направлений патогенетической терапии иммуновоспалительных ревматологических заболеваний.
