Жесткость артериальной сосудистой стенки является независимым предиктором кардиоваскулярной смерти среди различных популяций пациентов. В настоящее время проведено несколько исследований, результаты которых свидетельствуют о повышении жесткости артериальной стенки при системной склеродермии (ССД). Влияние иммуносупрессивной терапии на жесткость сосудистой стенки у больных ССД не исследовано.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Авторами данной статьи выполнена оценка сосудистой жесткости 5 больным диффузной формой склеродермии до и через 6 месяцев после сочетанной иммуносупрессивной терапии.</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. У всех больных наблюдалось снижение показателей сосудистой жесткости на фоне умеренного эффекта от проводимой терапии.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Background</title><p>Background. Arterial wall stiffness is an independent predictor of cardiovascular mortality in different patient populations. Currently, there are several studies that show an increase of arterial wall stiffness in systemic sclerosis (SSc). The effect of immunosuppressive therapy on vascular wall stiffness in SSc patients is not investigated. The authors of this paper attempted to study the effect of rituximab and cyclophosphamide combination therapy on vascular stiffness in 5 patients with diffuse form of SSc.</p></sec><sec><title>Design and methods</title><p>Design and methods. We assessed arterial stiffness in 5 patients with diffuse form of SSc before and after 6 months after combined immunosuppressive therapy.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
