Цель исследования. В статье представлены результаты оценки частоты развития артериальной гипертензии (АГ) при тиреотоксикозе (ТТ), ее характер, влияние на характер ремоделирования левого желудочка (ЛЖ) и прогноз сердечно-сосудистых осложнений.

Результаты и выводы

Результаты и выводы. Полученные данные продемонстрировали, что АГ развивается с высокой частотой и носит преимущественно систолический характер. У пациентов с нормальным артериальным давлением гипертрофия ЛЖ (ГЛЖ) носила исключительно эксцентрический характер. Развитие АГ сопровождалось увеличением частоты ГЛЖ, преимущественно за счет ее концентрического варианта. Концентрическая ГЛЖ в свою очередь была ассоциирована с самой высокой частотой развития фибрилляции предсердий и сердечной недостаточности у обследованных больных.

Objective

Objective. We present the results of the study assessing the frequency and character of hypertension in thyrotoxicosis, and its impact on left ventricular remodeling and cardiovascular prognosis.

Results and conclusions

Results and conclusions. Our data demonstrated that hypertension, and predominantly systolic hypertension, is highly prevalent in thyrotoxicosis and affects left ventricular remodeling. All normotensive patients developed only eccentric left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH). The prevalence of LVH, and of its concentric forms increases with the elevation of blood pressure. Concentric LVH is associated with the high rate of atrial fi brillation and heart failure.
