Материалы и методы. Анализировали результаты обследования 391 работника рудника некоренных национальностей. Использовали диагностические критерии Международной Федерации диабета (IDF), американских экспертов Национальной образовательной программы по холестерину (NCEP-ATP III) в модификации 2005 г. и экспертов Российского филиала института метаболического синдрома (КРЭ). Результаты. По критериям трех диагностических систем с наибольшей частотой (57,5 %) встречалась артериальная гипертензия. По критериям IDF абдоминальное ожирение выявлено с частотой 58,3 %; его распространенность по критериям NCEP-ATP III и КРЭ составила 36,8 %. Низкий уровень холестерина липопротеидов высокой плотности (ХС ЛПВП) выявлен у 38,4 %, гипергликемия и гипертриглицеридемия - у 26,9 % и 22,8 % обследованных лиц соответственно. Распространенность метаболического синдрома составила 26,6 - 26,9 %, практически вне зависимости от критериев диагноза, причем у женщин он встречался в 1,4-1,6 раза чаще, чем у мужчин. Выводы. Среди работников рудника доминирующими были три компонента метаболического синдрома - артериальная гипертензия, абдоминальное ожирение и низкий уровень ХС ЛПВП, следовательно, оптимальной для выявления метаболического синдрома оказалась система критериев диагноза NCEP ATP III.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Objective. To determine metabolic syndrome prevalence, its components and their combinations at mineral resource industry workers in Yakutia. Design and methods. The data of 391 mine workers of non-aboriginal nationalities survey were analyzed. The diagnosis criteria of International Diabetes Federation (IDF), American Experts of National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP-ATP III) in modification of 2005 year and Experts of Russian branch of the Metabolic Syndrome Institute (CRE) were used. Results. Arterial hypertension prevalence was the highest if any of the criteria applied (57,5 %). The prevalence of abdominal obesity was 58,3 % if IDF criteria were applied, and only 36,8 % according to NCP-ATP III and CRE criteria. Decreased HDL cholesterol was found in 38,4 %, hyperglycemia and hypertriglyceridemia - in 26,9 and 22,8 % of the investigated population. Metabolic syndrome prevalence was 26,6-26,9 % by all diagnostic criteria, and it was 1,4-1,6 times more often in women, then in men. Conclusion. Three metabolic syndrome components, namely arterial hypertension, abdominal obesity and low level of HDL cholesterol, were found to be predominant among mine workers.
