Цель исследования - определить связь личностной тревожности (ЛТ) с уровнями артериального давления (АД), ишемической болезнью сердца (ИБС) и другими психосоциальными факторами. Материалы и методы. В рамках программы ВОЗ «MONICA-psychosocial» в 1994 г. была обследована случайная репрезентативная выборка мужчин в возрасте 25-64 лет, жителей одного из района Новосибирска. В выборке исследовали уровни АД, распространенность ИБС и их связь с ЛТ, а также связь ЛТ с другими психосоциальными факторами (ПСФ). Результаты. Доля лиц с более высокими уровнями АД (как систолического, так и диастолического), верифицированной и возможной ИБС при высоком уровне ЛТ (ВУТ) существенно выше, чем при низком (НУТ). ВУТ достоверно чаще сочетается с большой депрессией, высокой враждебностью, средним показателем жизненной истощенности, низкой социальной поддержкой. Заключение. Полученные результаты показывают, что в популяции мужчин 25-64 лет ВУТ связан с высокими уровнями АД и высокой частотой верифицированной ИБС.

Objective. To determine the relationship of personal anxiety (PA) with the levels of blood pressure (BP), coronary artery disease (CAD) and other psychosocial factors (PSF). Design and methods. A random representative sample of men aged 25-64 years, residents of one district of Novosibirsk were surveyed in 1994 as part of the WHO program «MONICA-psychosocial». Blood pressure, CAD and their relationship to PA, as well as to the other PSF were examined. Results. Higher blood pressure (both systolic and diastolic), definite and possible coronary artery disease were more frequent in subjects with high levels of PA than n those with low PA. High PA was more frequently associated with high major depression, high hostility, average vital exhaustion, sleep disturbances, and low social support. Conclusion. The results show that males aged 25-64 with high PA have higher blood pressure, and higher rate of verified CAD.
