Изучение клинико-эпидемиологических показателей при СД тип 1 в популяции детей и подростков Санкт-Петербурга позволило выявить приоритетные факторы риска развития диабетической нефропатии: возраст начала полового развития, особенность соматотипа (высокий рост), женский пол. К неблагоприятным метаболическим факторам, определяющим развитие диабетической нефропатии у детей и подростков с СД тип 1, следует отнести высокую степень хронической гипергликемии в дебюте заболевания. Артериальная гипертензия, дислипидемия, развитие диабетической ретинопатии не входят в число основных факторов риска диабетической нефропатии у детей и подростков.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>А total of 615 patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus from St Petersburg Municipal Diabetes Centre for Children and Adolescents were included in the present analysis. Risk factors for early diabetic nephropathy were age of puberty (&gt; 11 years), high HbA1c at onset of disease, high height, female sex.
