<trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
<title>Objective</title><p>Objective. Altogether 117 women were enrolled, 33 were included in the group of hypertensive disorders during pregnancy, and 44 formed the group without hypertension during pregnancy. The control group consisted of 40 patients. The time interval after delivery was on average 5 to 19 years.</p>
<title>Results and conclusions</title><p>Results and conclusions. Women with hypertension during pregnancy developed changes in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism associated with hypertension and abdominal obesity, which are the components of the cluster of the metabolic syndrome. These changes are also accompanied by insulin resistance, hyperinsulinemia, adipokine imbalance, changes in fbrinolysis and more pronounced remodeling of the heart and vessels as target organs in hypertension.</p>
</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>беременность</kwd><kwd>артериальная гипертензия</kwd><kwd>метаболический синдром</kwd><kwd>инсулинорезистентность</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>pregnancy</kwd><kwd>hypertension</kwd><kwd>metabolic syndrome</kwd><kwd>insulin resistance</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">2016 European Guidelines on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention in Clinical Practice: The Sixth Joint Task Force of the European Society of Cardiology and Other Societies on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention in Clinical Practice (Constituted by Representatives of 10 Societies and by Invited Experts).
