<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Pathogenesis of arterial hypertension (HTN) was predominantly associated with genetics and epigenetics, environment and disturbances in homeostasis systems (autonomous nervous system, immunity, renin-angiotensin system) for a long time. New data on the role of gut bacteria in the development of HTN, direct blood pressure regulation as well as impact on epigenetics, immunity and renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system of its metabolites are presented.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>артериальная гипертензия</kwd><kwd>патогенез</kwd><kwd>микробиом</kwd><kwd>дисбиоз</kwd><kwd>хроническое субклиническое воспаление</kwd><kwd>микроорганизмы</kwd><kwd>иммунная система</kwd><kwd>рецепторы</kwd><kwd>короткоцепочечные жирные кислоты (КЦЖК)</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hypertension</kwd><kwd>pathogenesis</kwd><kwd>microbiome</kwd><kwd>chronic low-grade inflammation</kwd><kwd>microorganisms</kwd><kwd>immune system</kwd><kwd>receptors</kwd><kwd>short chain fatty acids (SCFA)</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Исследование выполнялось при поддержке Гранта Президента Российской Федерации по государственной поддержке ведущих научных школ Российской Федерации НШ-5508.2018.7 (соглашение № 075-15-2019-161 от 23.05.2019)</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The study was supported by the Grant of the President of the Russian Federation for the Leading Scientific Schools of the Russian Federation НШ-5508.2018.7 (agreement № 075-15-2019-161, 23.05.2019)</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Wise IA, Charchar F J.
