Артериальная гипертензия (АГ) — один из важнейших факторов риска развития хронической сердечной недостаточности (ХСН). Представленный клинический случай демонстрирует особенности диагностики и лечения пациента с ХСН с низкой фракцией выброса, причиной которой была неконтролируемая АГ. Немедикаментозная коррекция образа жизни и адекватно подобранное антигипертензивное лечение в течение 5 лет привели к нормализации артериального давления и увеличению сократимости миокарда, что уменьшило проявления ХСН.

Hypertension (HTN) is one of the most important risk factors for the development of chronic heart failure (CHF). The presented clinical case demonstrates the peculiarities of diagnosis and treatment of the patient with CHF with reduced ejection fraction, resulted from uncontrolled HTN. Lifestyle modification and adequate antihypertensive treatment during 5 years led to blood pressure control and improved myocardial contractility, resulting in the reduction of CHF manifestations.
