В статье обзорно представлены основные результаты исследования здоровья жителей блокадного Ленинграда в отдаленном периоде. Текущая научно-исследовательская деятельность направлена на изучение механизмов трансгенерационного наследования на примере выборки двух поколений потомков жителей блокадного Ленинграда. В настоящий момент проводится комплексное исследование, направленное на оценку структурных и функциональных характеристик кардио-васкуло-рено-гепато-метаболического континуума у потомков первого и второго поколений жителей блокадного Ленинграда по сравнению с популяционной выборкой жителей Санкт-Петербурга. Современные ученые продолжают развивать идеи Г. Ф. Ланга, используя современные актуальные методы и подходы для разработки научно обоснованных мер профилактического воздействия, снижающих бремя негативного влияния травматического опыта на здоровье следующих поколений.                                </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This study examines the scientific contributions of Georgy F. Lang and his relevance to understanding cardiometabolic disorders in survivors of the Leningrad Siege and their offspring. The article provides an overview of key findings from longitudinal studies of Siege survivors conducted by Russian and European research groups. Current investigations focus on elucidating transgenerational inheritance mechanisms through analysis of a two-generation cohort in the survivors’ descendants. The comprehensive study is presently aimed to evaluate structural and functional characteristics of the cardio-vascular-renal-hepatic-metabolic continuum in first and second generation descendants of Siege survivors, in comparison to a population-based sample of St Petersburg residents. Contemporary researchers continue developing Lang’s theoretical framework by employing modern methodologies to establish evidence-based preventive strategies aimed at mitigating the negative health impacts of traumatic experiences across generations.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Георгий Федорович Ланг</kwd><kwd>блокада Ленинграда</kwd><kwd>сердечно-сосудистые заболевания</kwd><kwd>метаболические изменения</kwd><kwd>трансгенерационное наследование</kwd><kwd>первичная профилактика</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Georgy F.
