Обследовано 155 больных ЭГ в возрасте 30–70 лет. Проведены: общеклиническое обследование, определение уровней глюкозы, креатинина и липидного спектра (уровни липопротеинов низкой плотности, липопротеинов высокой плотности и триглицеридов) крови (биохимический анализатор «Sinhron SX‑4 DELTA» (Beckman, США), дуплексное сканирование сонных артерий (аппарат «Sequoia‑512», Acuson, США), определение жесткости артерий методом контурного анализа пульсовой волны (аппарат «Ангиоскан‑01», «Ангиоскан», Россия), суточное мониторирование АД (аппарат «Tonoport-IV», Marquette Hellige, Германия).</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Выявлена ассоциация индекса аугментации со степенью снижения АД в ночное время у гипертензивных мужчин, но не у женщин. Так, у мужчин его величина составила соответственно 6,8 ± 11,5 %, 12,7 ± 10,9 % и 14,5 ± 7,7 % для лиц с суточным профилем «dipper», «non-dipper» и «night-peaker» (p &lt; 0,05–0,01). Для женщин значения аналогичных показателей составили 19,9 ± 9,4 %, 20,7 ± 8,2 % и 17,1 ± 9,9 % соответственно (p &gt; 0,05). При этом показано, что у пациентов с сохранным суточным профилем АД отмечались наименьшие значения индекса аугментации (15,6 ± 14,8 % против 21,6 ± 13,4 % у лиц с суточным профилем «non-dipper», p &lt; 0,02). Кроме этого, продемонстрирована большая выраженность атеросклеротического поражения сонных артерий у пациентов с суточным профилем АД «non-dipper» (23,2 ± 18,8 %) по сравнению с лицами с нормальным суточным профилем АД — «dipper» (13,7 ± 14,5 %, p &lt; 0,01).</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. У больных ЭГ с нарушенным суточным профилем АД регистрируется большая величина индекса аугментации и выраженность атеросклеротического поражения сонных артерий.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Objective</title><p>Objective. To study the relationship between arterial stiffness, augmentation index and the structure of the carotid arteries with daily blood pressure (BP) profile in patients with essential hypertension (HTN).</p></sec><sec><title>Design and methods</title><p>Design and methods. Altogether 155 patients with HTN aged 30–70 years were examined. A physical examination, glucose, creatinin level and lipid profile (low- and high-density lipoproteins, and triglycerides) (biochemical analyzer Sinсhron SX‑4 DELTA, Beckman, USA), duplex scanning of carotid arteries (Sequoia‑512, Acuson, USA), and arterial stiffness assessment by pulse wave contour analysis (Angioscan‑01, Angioscan, Russia) were performed.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Augmentation index was associated with the nocturnal BP reduction in hypertensive males, but not females. In males, augmentation index was 6,8 ± 11,5 %, 12,7 ± 10,9 % and 14,5 ± 7,7 % for the dippers, nondippers and night-peakers, respectively (p &lt; 0,05–0,01). In females, it was 19,9 ± 9,4 %, 20,7 ± 8,2 % and 17,1 ± 9,9 %, respectively (p &gt; 0,05). The lowest values of augmentation index (15,6 ± 14,8 % versus 21,6 ± 13,4 % for non-dippers, p &lt; 0,02) were found in patients with normal circadian BP profile. In addition, more severe carotid atherosclerotic lesions were found in non-dippers (23,2 ± 18,8 %) compared to dippers (13,7 ± 14,5 %, p &lt; 0,01).</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions.
