Были рассчитаны «грубые» и стандартизованные показатели заболеваемости. Для стандартизации показателей использовался косвенный метод стандартизации.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. По состоянию на 31.12.2008 г. в изучаемой когорте работников было зарегистрировано 8047 случаев АГ (5463 у мужчин и 2584 у женщин). Показано, что стандартизованные показатели заболеваемости АГ у работников изучаемой когорты статистически значимо зависели от пола, достигнутого возраста и индекса массы тела. Не выявлено зависимости стандартизованных показателей заболеваемости АГ от профессионального пролонгированного внешнего гамма-облучения.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Заболеваемость АГ в когорте работников атомной промышленности зависела от нерадиационных факторов и не зависела от профессионального пролонгированного внешнего облучения.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Objective</title><p>Objective. To assess incidence rates for arterial hypertension (HTN) in the cohort of workers exposed occupationally to prolonged radiation.</p></sec><sec><title>Design and methods</title><p>Design and methods. Incidence of HTN was studied in the cohort of 22,377 workers of the first nuclear enterprise in the former USSR, the Mayak Production Association, for the entire follow-up period (1948–2008). “Crude” and standardized incidence rates were calculated. To standardize incidence rates indirect method was applied.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. As of 31.12.2008, 8,047 cases of HTN were registered in the study cohort (5,463 in males and 2,584 in females). Standardized incidence rates for HTN among workers of the study cohort were significantly associated with sex, attained age and body mass index.
