В статье приводятся литературные и собственные данные о роли ß-блокаторов в лечении артериальной гипертензии, отрицательных метаболических эффектах и путях их преодоления Продемонстрированы преимущества небиволола в лечении артериальной гипертензии Приведены данные исследования SENIORS, касающиеся позитивных эффектов небиволола в лечении пожилых больных с сердечной недостаточностью
