Эпидемиология метаболического синдрома в различных регионах. Зависимость от используемых критериев и прогностическое значение

Аннотация

В обзоре представлены данные о распространенности МС и его отдельных компонентов в различных странах Европы, Азии, США и в ряде других регионов. Показана роль применяемых критериев диагностики метаболического синдрома для объективной оценки его эпидемиологии. Приведены основные результаты прогностической значимости метаболического синдрома в плане развития сахарного диабета и сердечно-сосудистых осложнений.
